Cycle Stars come second at the European Youth Cycle Tour Assen

Blake Knight racing for Cycle Stars Academy shocked us all by coming second in GC in the European Youth Cycle Tour at Assen. Racing for the first time in Assen against some of the best riders in Europe, expectations weren't high even with the successful road season Blake has been having.

On the first day we knew Blake was i with a chance when he ended up in the Hot Seat in the Prolouge on the first day. With advise from Coaches Blakes started to race strategically for GC and not competing for points in the Green Jersey. Despite this he still managed to get third in the White Jersey (Hill Climbs)

The event has boosted Blakes confidence for next year when he moves up to the U12s. Blake's performace has inspired other team mates who are looking to join him in next years tour.
