Saturday saw our very first coaching session catering for Girls only.

We have seen some very competitive girls come ang go at Cycle Stars, and although they are keen and fast on their bikes, they can be a little intimidated by racing with the boys. It was a great session with our first 4 enthusistic girls join the Girls only club.

In the UK the girls cycling squad are very successful, which proves that given the opportunity they can be very competitive. The problem we have in the UK is that we don't have enough girls starting cycling at grass roots.

Hopefully that having the opportunity to train and race together will inspire more girls to race. If you are interested in joining, we cater for 3-14 years of age and coaching sessions are on Saturday 2-3pm at All Saints Academy Cheltenham.
